Aether circuitry is a type of technology used primarily by the Vaul.
Basically an extension of psionic crystal technology, aether circuitry is composed of a hybrid matter and energy substance. Out of phase from normal space, technology using these circuits appear to have no internal components whatsoever. This allows for more complex functions and movements to be performed without risking damage.
Though aether circuitry is for all intensive purposes invulnerable to conventional damage, it still requires energy supplied by a source in to physical plane. Should the source be damaged beyond repair, the circuitry will be forced back into normal space completely vulnerable to anything.
